A possibility of existance of a group of new materials, clathrate perovskites, derived from crystals of rhenium trioxide structure rype (as completely vacant perovskites) or partially) vacant perovskites, such as La2/3TiO3, well-knon PLZT and other, and with (primarily) inert, non-bound atoms in A sites is dicussed.
