Základní oborový lexikon obsahuje 2053 biogramy archivářů, archivních konzervátorů a restaurátorů, fotografů, knihovníků i pracovníků archivního školství od 14. století do roku 1999. Byl vydán v knižní podobě v roce 2000 a je přístupný od roku 2001 také na internetu. Článek informuje o dosavadních ohlasech a vesměs příznivých hodnoceních slovníku. Autorky rovněž uvádějí přehledy neprávem opominutých archivářů a drobná pochybení tisková i v konkrétních údajích.

The basic professional Dictionary (BSAČZ) contains 2,053 entries portraying archivists, archive conservators and restorers, photographers, librarians and teachers in archive education from 14th century up to 1999. The book was published in 2000, from 2001 Dictionary is on Internet. The article informs about good response and favourable evaluation of the Dictionary. The authoresses of this Dictionary present overviews of the wrongly forgeting archivists and of the printer´s errors and slight mistakes in the some data.
