Der vierte Band der systematischen Bearbeitung der abgeschlossenen Grabungsetappe 1954-1992 in Mikulčice. Den Pflanzen und dem Holz als Quellen zur Erkenntnis der naturräumlichen Bedingungen und der wirtschaftlichen Verhältnisse der frühmittelalterlichen Burganlage gewidmet. Archäobotanische Bearbeitung der pflanzlichen Grossreste aus Mikulčice und Břeclav-Pohansko sowie der Holzreste aus den frühmittelalterlichen Gräbern in Mähren (E. Opravil). Weiter archäologische Bearbeitung der Holzfunde und der Holzbearbeitungswerkzeuges von Mikulčice (L. Poláček - O. Marek - R. Skopal, L. Poláček). Der 3. und 4. Teil der archäologischen Topographie im breiteren Hinterland des Burgwalls zugefügt (E. Klanicová, J. Škojec). Herrn Dr. Čeněk Staňa zum 70. Geburtstag gewidmet.

Fourth volume of the systematic work on field works in Mikulčice during the years 1954-1992, which is devoted to plants and wood as a source of the knowledge about natural environment and economic conditions of the early medieval stronghold. Archaeobotanical analysis on plant´s makrorests from Mikulčice (Excursus to Břeclav-Pohansko) and rests of wood in early mediaeval burial-grounds in Moravia (E. Opravil). Further on archaeological work on wooden finds and wood-working tools from Mikulčice (L. Poláček - O. Marek - R. Skopal, L. Poláček). Added is also 3th and 4th part of archaeological topography in wide surrounding of stronghold (E. Klanicová, J. Škojec). Dedicated Dr. Čeněk Staňa to 70th birthday.
