This is a collection of author´s results on integral operators and imbeddings in function spaces based on a published monograph and research papers. The main emphasis is put on the boundedness of classical operators of harmonic analysis in Orlicz spaces, on extrapolation methods and limiting imbedding theorems of Trudinger and Brezis-Wainger type. Selected applications to qualitative properties of elliptic operators are included, too.

Práce obsahuje vybrané důležité autorovy výsledky v oblasti kvalitativního chování integrálních operátorů v prostorech funkcí z vydané monografie a sedmi původních publikovaných článků. Hlavní důraz je kladen na omezenost klasických operátorů a jejich zobecnění v Orliczových prostorech, na extrapolační metody a kritická vnoření Trudingerova a Brezisova-Waingerova typu. Je zahrnuto rovněž několik vybraných aplikací na kvalitativní vlastnosti eliptických operátorů.
