The aim of this paper is the description of the integral cohomology rings of the real Stiefel manifolds V n,k in terms of generators and relations. The computation is carried out by using the Gysin exact sequence for the sphere bundle S(n-k-1) - V(n,k+1) - V(n,k).

Cílem článku je popis celočíselných kohomologických okruhů reálných Stiefelových variet V n,k pomocí generátorů a relací. Výpočet se provádí s použitím Gysinovy exaktní posloupnosti pro sférickou fibraci.
