A new class amorphous chalcogenide films of the system Ag-As-S prepared by standard spin-coating technique from organic solutions of chalcogenide glasses were studied. Rutherford backscattering spectroscopy (RBS) has been proved as an important non-destructive toot for establishing composition and depth distribution of the elements within prepared films. Elastic recoil detection analysis (ERDA) allowed us to study H presence in addition to the basic constituent atoms (Ag, As, S) in films. The mu-XRF spectroscopy and SEM with EDX analysis showed that the films were stoichiometric with a composition of AgAsS2. Differential scanning calorimetry (DSC) has proven the similarities of thermal parameters such as glass transition temperature, T-g, and crystallization temperature T-c between spin-coated films and bulk glass of AgAsS2.

Nová třída amorfních chalkogenidových filmů systémů Ag-As-S připravených standartní technikou spinovéh povlékání z organických roztoků chalkogenových skel je studována nedestruktivní metodou RBS a dalšími metodami.
