The host specifity of several species from the family Hymenolepididae is discussed. So far parasites of rodents are concerned the species Rodentolepis straminea, R. fraterna, Hymenolepis diminuta, H. pseudodiminuta and H. hibernia. Parasites of man are concerned the species Rodentolepis nana and Hymenolepis flavopunctata, only.

V práci je diskutován fenomen specifičnosti některých druhů tasemnic z čeledi Hymenolepididae a formulovány závěry, že pouze u hlodavců cizopasí druhy Rodentolepis straminea, R. fraterna, Hymenolepis diminuta, H. pseudodiminuta and H. hibernia. Specifickými parazity člověka jsou pouze druhy Rodentolepis nana and Hymenolepis flavopunctata.
