Hemocytes of Bombyx mori (Lepidoptera) larvae were investigated to produce reactive oxygen species as part of the oxidative killing of invading pathogens. The production of reactive oxygen species was measured as a luminol- and lucigenin-enhanced hemiluminescence of unstimulated by various activators stimulated hemolymph or isolated hemocytes. Hence none of the experimental approaches used indicated the production of reactive oxygen species by hemocytes of B. mori larvae as part of their immune response.
Tvorba reaktivních metabolitů kyslíku aktivovanými hemocyty larev bource morušového (Lepidoptera) byla měřena luminometrickými, spektrofotometrickými a fluorimetrickými metodami. Žádním z těchto metodických přístupů nebyla zvýšená tvorba reaktivních metabolitů kyslíku hemocyty prokázána.
