AnnotationThe anisotropy of magnetoelastic phenomena was studied under pressure. A huge anisotropy in compression (dlnc/dp~2dlna/dp) and thermal expansion (dlnc/dT~5dlna/dT) of the Lu2Fe17 crystal lattice has been observed under hydrostatic pressure. The dominant role of the lattice c-parameter in the pressure effects is discussed
