Byly popsány defekty mitochondriální ATP syntházy, které mohou být jaderného i mitochondriálního původu. Tyto defekty vedou káporuše asemblace a funkce ATP syntházy a zvyšují tvorbu ROS vámitochondriích.

Mitochondrial ATP synthase diseases of nuclear and mitochondrial origin were described. These defects lead to the disturbed assembly and function of ATPase. And both defects increase mitochondrial ROS production.
