The author reports that photometric observations of the minor planet (1089), obtained on five nights between 2003 December 26 and 2004 January 5, strongly suggest that the object is a binary system showing mutual eclipses and/or occultations.

Autoři hlásí, že fotometrická pozorování planetky (1089), získaná v pěti nocích od 26. prosince 2003 do 5. ledna 2004, ukazují, že objekt je binárním systémem vykazujícím vzájemné zákryty a/nebo zatmění.
