    Tryptophan (W)- repressor binding protein A, WrbA identified as an E. coli stationary- phase protein was named for its reported effect on the interaction between tryptophan repressor and DNA [1]. Larer work [2] showed that this effect was non-specific,leaving the physiological role of WrbA unknown.

    Tryptophan (W) – protein vázající se na triptofonový represor A, (WrbA) byl identifikován ve stascionární fázi E coli - fáze proteinu byla pojmenována díky svým zaznamenaným účinkům na interakci mezi tryptophanovým represorem a DNA. Pozdější práce ukázala, že tento účinek nebyl specifický, a tudíž fyziologická role WrbA není známá.
