Na základě monitorování fauny nočních motýlů (Lepidoptera) na okraji Labského dolu (Krkonoše) v letech 2000-2002 byl potvrzen významný fenomén migrací nížinných druhů, které nejsou v horách původní (autochtonní). Můry Autographa gamma a Noctua pronuba byly průkazně nejhojnější ze všech zjištěných migrantů. Intenzita migrací a disperze biomasy nočních motýlů v Krkonoších je určována anemo-orografickými systémy těchto vysokých hor.

The evidence of important phenomenon of moth migrations (Lepidoptera) was provided by the light trap monitoring in the Krkonoše (Giant) Mountains in the years 2000-2002. The migratory lowland species are not autochthonous in the mountains. The most common moths seem to be noctuids Autographa gamma and Noctua pronuba. Migrations and dispersal of moths in the high mountains are basically determined by the anemo-orographic systems.
