Metabolism of paclitaxel and docetaxel of cytochrome P450 was compared in humans, pigs, minipigs and rats. While docetaxel metabolism is the same in all four compared species, metabolism of paclitaxel showed differences, especially in 6alpha-hydroxypaclitaxel present exclusively in humans.

Byl porovnán metabolismus paclitaxelu a docetaxelu cytochromy P450 u člověka, prasete, miniprasete a krysy. Zatímco metabolismus docetaxelu je stejný u všech čtyř zkoumaných druhů, metabolismus paclitaxelu vykazuje rozdíly, zejména v 6α-hydroxypaclitaxelu přítomnému výlučně u člověka.
