On 22 - 24 October 2003 the Institute of State and Law, Academy of Sciences of the Czech Republic, in co-operation with the Faculty of Law, Charles University, Prague, the Faculty of Law, University of West Bohemia, Plzeň and the Economic University Prague organized a scientific conference in Prague under the heading of 'Public Administration Reform in Theory and Practice '.
