    The Kelvin-Helmoltz instability takes place on the interface between two horizontally stratified fluid layers which are in a state of relative shear flow with respect to each other. The first case of superfluid shear flow has been discoverd in uniformly rotating superfluid 3He, when the phase boundary between the A and B phases is maintained at a location with a magnetic barrier field

    Kelvinova-Helmholtzova nestabilita nastává na rozhraní dvou kapalin ve stavu smykového proudění. První příklad supratekutého smykového proudění byl objeven v rotujícím supratekutém 3He, kde je rozhraní mezi fázemi A a B stabilizováno magnetickým polem
