AnnotationTo identify the genes whose expression is controlled by protein kinase StkP we examined the transcription profile of DstkP mutant by DNA microarray technology. The transcript analysis revealed the StkP-dependent expression of many potential target loci. Out of 2,300 genes evaluated, 49 were found to be specifically and strongly upregulated in the DstkP strain, whereas 48 were downregulated.
