Volné postranní řetězce GlyPheLeuGly podstatně zvyšují akumulaci a zlepšují farmakologický účinek doxorubicinu navázaného na polymerní nosič na bázi N-(2-hydroxypropyl)methacrylamidu. Významný protinádorový účinek byl prokázán i u konjugátů nesoucích doxorubicin navázaný přes „neštěpitelnou“ sekvenci GlyGly
