This report develops specific focus on early school leavers and pensioners, the unemployed and the economically inactive, as well as single parents and the Roma. Moreover, it assesses the situation of immigrants, as well as of women having experienced violence and sexual abuse, including trafficking. The report aims to advance the understanding on how gender mainstreaming – supported by gender impact analysis – is a useful tool for analysing the causes and dimensions of social exclusion and poverty. It is based upon national case studies from 30 European countries (EU-27, Lichtenstein, Norway, Iceland).

Tato studie rozvíjí specifický pohled na osoby předčasně opouštějící vzdělání, důchodce, nezaměstnané a ekonomicky neaktivní stejně tak jako na svobodné rodiče a romy. Navíc studie hodnotí situaci imigrantů a žen se zkušeností násilí a sexuálního zneužívání včetně obchodu s lidmi. Posláním je zde posunout vpřed porozumnění jak užitečným nástrojem je gender mainstreaming – podpořený analýzou genderových dopadů – pro analýzu příčin a dimenzí sociálního vyloučení a chudoby. Práce je založena na národních případových studiích ze 30 evropských zemí (EU-27, Lichtenštějnska, Norska a Islandu).
