    AnnotationVenom of any vasp generally contains several biologically active peptides. Among them also peptides having antimicrobial properties. Structure activity study of a new heptadeca peptide from the vasp Polistes major major inhabitting the Dominican Republic is described. The new peptide kills bacteria in low micromolar range.
