After investigation of a tuff-tephra deposit near Mýtina (Czech Republic) it was not clear if the pyroclastic deposits were erupted from an initial maar beneath the Železná hůrka scoria cone. There was a speculation that the volcanic vent might coincide with a morphological depression northwest of Železná hůrka. To answer this question we started geophysical and geochronological research and specification of former petrochemical test research.
Z výsledků výzkumu vulkanických vyvrženin (tuf-tefra) u Mýtiny, Česká republika, nebylo jasné, zda pyroklastické uloženiny pocházejí z původní struktury vulkanického tělesa Železné hůrky. Uvažovali jsme, zda přívodní kanál nesouvisí s morfologickou depresí u Železné hůrky. S cílem odpovědět na tuto otázku jsme zahájili geofyzikální průzkum této deprese. Současně jsme realizovali geochronologické analýzy a pokračovali v původním petrochemickém výzkumu.
