We defined temperatures that are teratogenic after short-term exposure (from 2 to 24 h) on embryonic days 1–7 and detected critical periods for the origin of structural defects in the chick embryo. Short-term hyperthermia causes ventricular septal defect and caudal regression syndrome in chick embryos.
Krátkodobě zvýšená teplota vyvolává u kuřecích zárodků defekt mezikomorové překážky a syndrom kaudální regrese.
