The Proceedings include papers from the international conference covering themes mentioned in the conference title: Wave and Quantum Aspects of Contemporary Optics. Involved are at first five invited papers dealing with optical micromanipulation, optics of nanogratings, optical communications, spectroscopy of chemical radicals, and photorefractive effect. Fifty-three contributions follow from fields of wave and guided wave optics, optical devices and measurements, and optical imaging.

Sborník obsahuje příspěvky z mezinárodní konference pokrývající témata uvedená v názvu konference: Vlnové a kvantové aspekty současné optiky. Je uvedeno nejprve pět přehledových referátů zabývajících se optickou mikromanipulací, optikou nanomřížek, optickými komunikacemi, spektroskopií chemických radikálů a fotorefraktivním jevem. Následuje padesát tři příspěvků z oborů vlnové a vlnovodné optiky, optických zařízení a měření a optického zobrazení.
