AnnotationThe findings of the study indicates that exposure to PM2.5 and PM10 from ambient air results in increased oxidative and nitrosative stress. The level of oxidative and nitrosative stress was assessed among 50 bus drivers from Prague and 50 controls. As the markers was used 15-F2t-IsoP and 8-oxodG in urine, protein carbonyl groups and 3-nitrotyrosine in blood plasma. For the analysis of all four markers was used ELISA techniques.
