Přestože lidé vnímají oblast našeho zdravotnictví jako velmi problematickou, převažuje neochota nést náklady možných reforem. Silná podpora návrhu na zřízení pouze jedné zdravotní pojišťovny, jakož i upřednostnění zvýšení plateb ze státního rozpočtu na financování zdravotnictví, ukazují na preferenci řešení financování veřejného zdravotnictví spočívající v centralizaci a dotacích.

The reluctance to carry the burden of the costs of possible reforms prevails despite the Czech healthcare is perceived as very objectionable area. There is strong support to establish only one medical insurance office as well as giving priority to raise the state budget contributions into healthcare financing. Public opinion thus prefferes solutions of the healthcare financing consisting in centralisation and subsidies.
