AnnotationOur experimental results with amifostine and cystamine, both of Czechoslovak production, indicate that not only intravenous or intraperitoneal injections but also intramuscular or subcutaneous administrations of protectors induced a good protective effects against gamma irradiation on the level of radiosensitive tissues as well as on the level of whole organism of different small and high laboratory animals.
