AnnotationThe basic data concerning socioeconomic inequalities in health in Czech districts (2002) are compared with the new results from the three-years follow-up survey (2005). The presented data will demonstrate the relationships between self-reported health, educational level, income, and sick leave and unemployment. Income, unemployment and sick leave varies in different districts of the Czech Republic: the poorer districts report a higher morbidity and higher unemployment rate.
