    AnnotationWe have investigated the radiation emission in the wavelenghts interval of 300 nm until 700 nm. Optical transition of highly charged ions have been identified by irradiation of Al foils with the PALS laser facility under various conditions (change of target material, residual gas pressure and irradiation conditions).
