The research of the ethics of science has become a task which has no clear limits: since the contemporary science is a phenomenon connected through technology with the everyday life of citizens, it cannot be considered just a problem of scientists. Science is not understood just as a set of “truths“, “laws“ or propositions, but as a complex social phenomenon with its institutional structure built in the society.

Etika vědy je vědnou disciplínou bez přesných hranic: protože se věda stala prostřednictvím technologií součástí každodenního života, nemůže být považována jenom za problém vědců. Věda není chápána jako systém pravd, zákonů nebo pouček, ale jako komplexní sociální fenomén s vlastní institucionální strukturou začleněnou do společnosti.
