Mezinárodní konference si jako hlavní cíl vytkla zejména diskusi nad osudem kulturních statků v budoucnosti. Zvláštní důraz klade na položení základů případné budoucí spolupráce na mezinárodní úrovni, a to jak v rámci evropského prostoru, tak i mimo něj. Hlavním poselstvím konference bude zhodnocení materiálního, finančního, sociálního a politického stavu různých forem spolupráce.

Conference focuses on the present and especially future of these cultural assets, specifically in relation to lay the foundations to the future international co-operation both within the EU area and beyond its frontiers. This essential aim of the conference is to present and discuss an assessment of the material, financial, social and political status of the various form of the international co-operation.
