Annotation	A chapter from a catalogue of Hofman’s exhibition deals with Hofman’s designs of crematoriums from 1919-1925. It shows them in relation to the activities of the Prague-based "Krematorium" group and analyses their political and ideological background linked to the cultural emancipation of the young Czechoslovak Republic.
