    AnnotationGold layers were prepared on poly(ethylene terephtalate) substrate by diode sputtering and vacuum evaporation. Surface morphology of the layers was determined using atomic force and scanning electron microscopy. The layers prepared by sputtering exhibit significantly different morphology, with much smaller, pointed clusters.
