We have isolated genes encoding algal cyclin-dependent kinases CDKA and CDKB. They were inserted into a yeast expression vector, named pYD52-CrCDKA and pYD52-CrCDKB and transformed into yeast cdc28 mutants. The complementation test proved that both CDKs from C. reinhardtii are able to complement cdc28 mutation in S. cerevisiae

Izolovali jsme geny kódující řasové cyklin-dependentní kinázy CDKA a CDKB. Tyto geny byly vloženy do kvasinkových expresních vektorů, pojmenovány pYD52-CrCDKA a pYD52 CrCDKB. Výslednými plasmidy byly transformovány kvasinkové buňky mutované v genu cdc28. Komplementační test prokázal, že obě CDK z řasy C. reinhardtii jsou schopné komplementovat cdc28 mutaci u kvasinky S. cerevisiae
