Jsou představeny originální rytiny nejhorších historických seismických událostí, tedy zemětřesení a tsunami. Diskuse je vedena ze současných hledisek. Originální obrazy byly převzaty z pražské obrazové kolekce autora. Práce jsou nahlíženy v kontextu nedávného zemětřesení a tsunami (Aceh, Indonésie, prosinec 2004).

Most disastrous historical seismic effects, namely earthquakes and tsunamis are introduced by means of original engravings and discussed from modern viewpoints. The original images were taken from Prague image collection of the author. Context with recent earthquake and tsunami (Aceh, Indonesia, December 2004) is considered.
