The present paper describes some results of measurements of mechanical properties of rock samples using the device MTS 816 System. The uniaxial compressive strength under dynamic loading was studied within the range of frequencies 0-100 Hz. Dynamic strength characteristics are compared with analogous characteristics under static loading.

V článku jsou uvedeny výsledky měření mechanických vlastností horninových vzorků na testovacím zařízení MTS 816 System. Jednoosá tlaková pevnost při dynamickém namáhání byla zjišťována v rozsahu frekvencí 0-100 Hz. Dynamické pevnostní charakteristiky byly pak porovnávány s charakteristikami při statickém namáhání.
