V průběhu posledních 10 let to byla již 6. konference věnována biodiverzitě ryb. Nosnými tématy konference byla biodiverzita ryb na úrovni druhové a vnitrodruhové, rizikové faktory a možnosti její ochrany. V průběhu konference bylo předneseno 25 referátů, které budou v tištěné formě obsahem sborníku, který bude vydán v roce 2006. Další konference se zaměřením na vnitrodruhovou diverzitu se bude konat v roce 2007.

This was already a sixth konference on fish biodiversity in the course of the past decade. The main topics of this conference included fish biodiversity on the specific and intraspecific level, risk factors, and ways to protect it. Twenty-five papers were presented to the conference. They will be contained in printed form in a proceedings volume to be issued in 2006. The next one, focussed on intraspecific diversity, will convene in 2007.
