Vládce měl být zbožný, chránit církev a bojovat proti heretikům a nepřátelům církve. Jak dosvědčují historické prameny, i římský císař a český král stál v této tradici.
Description in English	Constantine the Great became, following the description in Eusebius´ Life of Constantine, the model for the rulers of medieval Europe. A ruler should be pious, should protect the Christian Church a fight against heretics and other ennemies of the Church. As can be seen in the historical documents, the Roman Emperor and King of Bohemia Charles IV was also in this tradition.
