Annotation
Flue gas generated by combustion of biogas was used for cultivation of algae in an outdoor open thin-layer photobioreactor. A mathematical model for optimum supply of this CO2 into algal culture grown under various light intensity and temperature was proposed. Utilization of flue gas diminishes the emissions of greenhouse CO2 and the costs of algal biomass production
