This article deals with selected problems of science policy in the humanities and social sciences.The problems of the Czech research (connected with the transformation changes, production of knowledge, evaluation, financings), and the position of the humanities and social sciences in a constituting European research area in general, are discussed in detail.

Článek se zabývá vědní politikou v humanitních oborech výzkumu a v sociálních vědách. Jsou zde diskutovány vybrané problémy české vědy a postavení humanitních oborů výzkumu ve vytvářejícím se Evropském výzkumném prostoru.
