Annotation
Jedním z typických symptomů glaukomu je vznik a progrese nabledlé oblasti uvnitř papily zrakového nervu na lidském očním pozadí. Tyto změny je možné objektivně detekovat a numericky reprezentovat ve formě tzv. charakteristického vektoru navrženým a v čláku popsaným postupem počítačové obrazové analýzy barevných digitálních snímků očního pozadí.

A typical symptom of glaucoma is the rise and progression of the palor area within the optic nerve head (optic disc, papilla) on the human eye fundus. These changes can be objectively detected and suitably numerically represented in the form of the characteristic vector using the computer image analysis process proposed and described in this article.
