Po úvodních poznámkách a vyjasnění filosofických a etických předpokladů informovaného souhlasu představuje čtyři současné koncepce informovaného souhlasu: i) překonaný model paternalistický, ii) model zaměřený na autonomní autorizaci lékařské intervence, iii) model založený na sdíleném rozhodování, iv) model informované volny. Všechny čtyři modely jsou stručně představeny, ukazujeme jejich kladné a záporné stránky, a nakonec hájíme model třetí. Description in English The chapter Informed consent in medicine. A myth, fairy-tale or mere legal requirement? is part of a monography on informed consent. After some introductory remarks and elucidation of philosophical and ethical prerequisites of informed consent it sets forth four contemporary approaches at informed consent: i) the outdated paternalistic model, ii) the model aimed at autonomous authorization of medical intervention, iii) the model based on shared decision-making process, iv) the model of informed choice. All these models are briefly introduced, the pros and cons are discussed and the third model is defended.
