Studie o Iústinovi se pokouší ukázat prorockou motivaci, která vedla Iústina k jeho konverzi a zvláštním způsobem ovlivnila jeho filosofování. Ukazuje, že ačkoli bylo jeho myšlení konformní k soudobé christologické interpretaci Starého zákona, sledovalo filosofický zájem. Filosofie tu prostředkuje mezi náboženskými antagonismy. Iústinos se chtěl vycházet z původní filosofie počínaje Mojžíšem a konče Kristem jako Logem v jeho plnosti. Jeho vlastní životopis jej osobně přesvědčoval, takže v křesťanské moudrosti spatřoval východisko z náboženského konfliktu a také z úpadku filosofického myšlení.

The study about Justin Martyr tried to sketch the prophetic motivation that Justin has led to his conversion and has influenced in a special way his philosophizing. It shows that although his thinking was conform to contemporary christological interpretation of the Old Testament, it was followed by the philosophical interest. The philosophy is here mediating between the religious antagonisms. He wanted to proceed from the original philosophy, beginning with Moses and ending in Christ as the Logos its fullness. His own biography was personally convincing for him, so that he saw in Christian wisdom a way out from religious conflict and also from the decay of philosophical thought.
