Od roku 2013 bylo v jižních Čechách identifikováno několik nových neolitických lokalit. Tento příspěvek prezentuje nové výsledky prospekce na neolitické lokalitě na katastru Protivína (okr. Písek) provedené mezi lety 2017 a 2020. Byl získán soubor čítající 295 nálezů keramiky a kamenné industrie. Výzdoba keramiky dokládá osídlení v období kultury s lineární keramikou i následnou keramikou vypíchanou. Proto je předpokládáno dlouhodobé osídlení lokality a mikroregionu dolní Blanice, v němž se lokalita nachází. Mezi surovinami štípané kamenné industrie dominují ortenburské a arnhofenské jurské rohovce z výchozů v Bavorsku. Broušená kamenná industrie byla většinou vyrobena z jizerskohorského metabazitu. Lokalita je diskutována v kontextu neolitického osídlení jižních Čech.

Several new Neolithic sites have been identified in South Bohemia since 2013. This paper presents recent results of prospection on a Neolithic site in the cadastral area of Protivín (Písek District) conducted between 2017 and 2020. An assemblage of 295 pottery and stone industry finds was recovered. Pottery decoration gives evidence of occupation by peoples of the Linear Pottery culture as well as of the subsequent Stroked Pottery culture, therefore, a long-term Neolithic occupation of the site and the microregion of the lower Blanice River is assumed. Raw materials for the manufacture of chipped stone industry are dominated by Ortenburg and Arnhofen Jurassic cherts from Bavarian outcrops. Polished stone industry was mostly made of Jizerské hory type metabasite. The site is discussed in the context of Neolithic occupation of South Bohemia.
