Annotation
Příspěvek se věnuje komparaci proměn předindustriálních a současných pohřebních rituálů v kontextu my/oni, domácí/cizí, specifikovaného na proměny vztahů živých a mrtvých. Zabývá se komponenty církevně katolických a lidově tradičních obřadů, které sleduje na vztahu živých k tělu mrtvého, hrobu a hřbitovu. Jejich symbolika se v rituálech odvozovala od víry v posmrtný život a důvěry v poslání rituálního zasvěcení duše mrtvého Bohu. Kremační obřad v průběhu 20. století, je od 70. let spolu s církevním pohřbem určujícím způsobem pohřbívání. Pozornost je věnována institucionálnímu prosazování občanských pohřbů v době reálného socialismu, jejichž ideologizace je devalvovala. Za zásadní proměnu je pokládána zejména změna mentalit, relativizující přesvědčení o účelnosti ritualizací a zpopelnění, transformující, případně vyprazdňující tradiční významy spojované s mrtvým tělem, hrobem a hřbitovem. Jsou nahrazovány symbolickým rozsypem či vsypem popela, ukládáním urny mimo rámec kremačního obřadu a redukcí starších funkcí a posvátných významů hřbitova. V českém prostředí se poukazuje i na symptomy non-relačního pojetí mrtvého v posledních desetiletích, které se vyznačuje individuální i skupinovou „bezobřadovostí“ při kremaci a různými projevy odosobněného vztahu k zemřelému. Přelom 20. a 21. století je spojen s nárůstem intimnějších forem rozloučení se zesnulým.

The chapter deals with the comparison of changes of pre-industrial and present-day funeral rituals in the context of us/them, familiar/unfamiliar focusing of the changes of relationships of the dead and the living ones. It deals with components of catholic and folk traditional rituals which are examined trought the attitude of the living people towards the bodies of the dead ones, the grave and graveyards. Its symbolic in the riatuals was derived from the belief in posthumous life and from trust in ritual dedication of the dead body to God. The cremation ritual together with a church funeral is the determining way of burial since 70s of the 20 th century. Attention is being paid to institutionally forced secular funerals in the time of real socialism which were devaluated by ideology. The principal one is the change of mentalities, leading to relativization of conviction about the purposefulness of rituals and cremation, transforming or emptying traditional meanings associated with the dead body, grave and graveyard. They are replaced by symbolic spilling out of the ashes, by placing the urn outside the frame of cremation ritual and by reduction of older functions and sacred meanings of the graveyard. In Czech environment the symptoms of non-relational perception of the deadare emphasized in the last decadess, marked by group or individual nonexistence of rituals during cremation and by various manifestations of impersonal relationship with deceased.The brake of 20 th and the 21 st century is connected with the rise of more intimate forms of parting with the deceased.
