EMEP/ACTRIS/COLOSSAL campaign was focused on apportionment of equivalent black carbon (eBC) into fossil fuel (eBCff) and wood burning (eBCwb) at sites with multi wavelength measurement of the absorption coefficient, combined with off line measurements of levoglucosan (LVG). More than 50 European stations participated in this activity. The scientific background of the campaign is described in Aas et al. (2018). Czech Republic was represented by National Atmospheric Observatory Košetice (NAOK). NAOK, established in 1988, is located in free area outside of settlement (4935´ N, 1505´E, 534 m above sea level) and represents the Czech Republic in several international long-term monitoring networks (ACTRIS, EMEP, GAW, ICOS, ICP-IM).
