Monitoring ukázal, že rozmanitost osídlení bezobratlými živočichy úzce souvisí s dosahem podzemních toků, vzdáleností a komunikací chodeb s povrchem, stanovištními podmínkami i s rozsahem lidské činnosti v některých částech
jeskyní. Přísun organiky podzemními toky spolu s průsakem povrchových vod se zvýšeným obsahem dusičnanů je provázen bohatším osídlením bezobratlými živočichy.Description in English Wetland of International Importance Podzemní Punkva is the most extensive cave system in the Czech Republic. Monitoring has shown that the diversity of invertebrate animals is closely related to the extent of underground water flows, distances and the communication of corridors with the surface, habitat conditions, and extent of human activity in some parts of the caves. The addition of organic matter to underground streams, along with the leakage of surface water with increased nitrate content, is accompanied by richer populations of invertebrate animals.
