AnnotationCopper smelter flue dust (>50% As) was incubated over 24 months in contrasting soils. High release of As (up to 72% of the total) due to dissolution of arsenolite, As2O3 and high concentration and mobility of As in soil and pore water after dust incubation. As release was partially controlled by precipitation of mimetite, a Pb arsenate.experimental approach.
