AnnotationElectronic, magnetic, and transport properties of Mn-doped SnTe alloy studied from first-principles. Half-metal exists for rock-salt structure and Mn atoms on Sn-sites. We found that experimentally observed ferromagnetism is due to holes, also interstititial Te atoms can promote ferromagnetism.
