In the presented contribution the first results will be presented. The area of our interest is the lake Most, which is placed directly next to an urban area of city Most in the northern Bohemia. The main research tool is a numerical weather prediction (NWP) model COSMO with a high resolution (horizontal resolution of 300-500 m). This model is coupled with the lake model Flake. The aim is to quantitatively express how the lake changes air temperature, humidity and other meteorological elements in comparison with the state without the lake.
