Cílem tohoto příspěvku je poukázat na to, že opozice mezi apelativní a propriální sférou jazyka se mnohdy manifestuje v rozdílné distribuci slovotvorných prostředků a postupů užitých u apelativ a vlastních jmen. Proto je nutné brát při analýze slovotvorné struktury jmen obecných a vlastních tento fakt v úvahu.

The aim of the paper is to point out that the opposition between the appellative and proprial language spheres often reveals in a different distribution of the word-formative means and procedures that are used by appellatives and proper names. Therefore, when analysing a word-formative structure of common nouns and proper names, it is necessary to take this fact into consideration.
